Join the Urban Institute, the Bipartisan Policy Center, and Results for America for a conversation with federal leaders about how agencies use learning agendas and other evidence-building approaches to guide their research activities and inform agency decisions on high-priority issues.
Agency leaders are increasingly working to build a culture of learning and to promote evidence building within federal agencies. Learning agendas can be a useful tool to identify and prioritize evaluation, data analysis, and research activities taking place within agencies.
The White House Office of Management and Budget’s recent government reform plan and the President’s Management Agenda include encouragement for agencies to develop learning agendas. This event will provide an opportunity for agencies to learn from each other about different approaches to developing and implementing learning agendas, including discussion on stakeholder engagement, partnering with program offices, implementation, and dissemination.
