BPC’s Evidence-Based Policymaking Initiative continues to closely monitor efforts to implement the bipartisan recommendations of the U.S. Commission on Evidence-Based Policymaking. The commission released its final report to the President and Congress with unanimous recommendations to improve data access, strengthen privacy protections, and enhance the capacity to build evidence. BPC’s experts gave updates and discussed the latest activity in Congress and the Executive Branch to realize the commission’s vision for the efficient and routine creation of rigorous evidence that is used in developing effective public policy.
