The Trump administration has now issued two executive orders suspending visas for six majority-Muslim countries and suspending the US refugee program for 120 days. The executive orders state that these “pauses” are in order to review and improve the process used to screen and vet visitors and refugees. This webcast discussed the current vetting system for visa holders and refugees, and what additional vetting measures could prove helpful and feasible in the future.
