This event has passed.

Patient-centered comparative effectiveness research is critical for health care decision making, but few understand its significance or development process. This event was the first in a two-part educational series on evaluating patient treatment options. Experts from academia, health care, and government discussed why and how this research is conducted, who funds this research, how the findings are used, and whether the results have been helpful to patients.
