Former 9/11 Commissioners Kean and Hamilton Discuss Intelligence Reform with Congressman Mac Thornberry as DNI Confirmation Hearings Begin

Washington, D.C. - The Bipartisan Policy Center (BPC) will host a panel discussion, “State of Play: The Future of the Director of National Intelligence,” with Congressman Mac Thornberry (R-TX), a member of the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence, and former 9/11 Commission Chair and Vice Chair Tom Kean and Lee Hamilton. The discussion will be held tomorrow, Tuesday, July 20, 2010, the morning of the nomination hearing for James R. Clapper to be the new Director of National Intelligence (DNI). The discussion will be moderated by The Associated Press’ Kimberly Dozier.
