Washington, D.C. - The Bipartisan Policy Center (BPC), in collaboration with Seton Healthcare Family, will host a policy conference, entitled, “Healthy Ideas Showcase: Changing the Way Health Care is Delivered” in Austin, Texas, next Friday, October 7, 2011.
The day-long event, featuring national and local health care leaders, will highlight significant progress in health professional workforce development and new models of care enabled by health information technology in the state of Texas. Keynote speakers include former Senate Majority Leaders Tom Daschle and Bill Frist, co-chairs of BPC’s Health Project, Charles Barnett, president and chief operating officer of Seton Healthcare Family, BPC President Jason Grumet, and Texas State Representatives Mark Strama and John Zerwas.
Following the conference, BPC, Seton Healthcare Family and the Texas e-Health Alliance will host a Health Innovation Exchange to highlight selected Texas-based innovations.
