Washington, D.C. - Former 9/11 Commission Chairman and Vice Chairman Tom Kean and Lee Hamilton, co-chairs of the Bipartisan Policy Center’s (BPC) National Security Preparedness Group (NSPG), will testify before the Senate Committee on Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs tomorrow, March 30, 2011, at 10:00AM.

In their testimony, Governor Kean and Congressman Hamilton will address the government’s response to terrorism post-9/11, as well the significant changes that have occurred since the attacks nearly ten years ago. Governor Kean and Congressman Hamilton will also make recommendations for our continued response to evolving terrorist threats.

The BPC’s National Security Preparedness Group is the successor to the 9/11 Commission. Its purpose is to monitor the implementation of the 9/11 Commission recommendations and report on new national intelligence threats.
