Renee Glover, who heads the Atlanta Housing Authority, has been elected vice chair of Habitat for Humanity International.
Under her leadership, the authority has sponsored the creation of 11 mixed-use, mixed-income communities with an economic impact of $3 billion.
The U.S. Congress appointed her in 2000 to the Millennial Housing Commission, which provides legislative recommendations on national housing policy. She also has been inducted as a fellow of the National Academy of Public Administration and was appointed to the Bipartisan Policy Center’s Housing Commission in December 2011.
