"Ms. Rivlin is also a co-chair, with former Republican Senator Pete Domenici of New Mexico, of a separate debt-reduction commission sponsored by the Bipartisan Policy Center, which was founded by former Democratic and Republican Senate majority leaders to try to help bridge the partisanship in Congress. That advisory group also is just getting under way and working on the same timeline as the president’s commission.
"'I will work hard to do a good job on both,' Ms. Rivlin said in an e-mail message."
