The Bipartisan Policy Center hosted a discussion on energy innovation with Tom Fanning, Southern Company chairman, president and chief executive officer.
Fanning will highlight Southern Company’s leadership in shaping America’s energy future by developing the full portfolio of energy resources: nuclear, 21st century coal, natural gas, renewables and energy efficiency. He discussed Southern Company’s Energy Innovation Center, which develops new products and services to improve the lives of customers and communities, and its recent agreement to acquire natural gas company AGL Resources.
