With Memorial Day fast approaching, summer is nearly upon us—and nothing is more American than a summer cookout. But as we get ready to gather around the picnic table with friends and family, food and agriculture companies are hard at work figuring out how to feed a growing world population while meeting consumer needs and minimizing environmental impact. These challenges are exacerbated by a changing climate, weather extremes, water scarcity and quality, and competition for natural resources. Now, agribusiness leaders have joined together to challenge themselves and their colleagues to embed sustainable practices throughout the supply chain.

The Bipartisan Policy Center’s CEO Council on Sustainability and Innovation shared case studies that illustrate sustainable best practices. The council also unveiled a call to action encouraging others along the supply chain to join the journey to a sustainable future.
