The Bipartisan Policy Center hosted Opening Night of the second annual Politics on Film festival at the Motion Picture Association of America featuring an exclusive screening of the documentary, The Youngest Candidate.

Politics on Film is the nation’s first juried film festival with a mission to highlight political film and provide a platform for filmmakers who focus on government, the electoral process, and current public policy issues.

Following the screening, there will be a special panel discussion with:

Senator Don Nickles (R-OK)

Jason Pollock, Director, The Youngest Candidate

Congressman Tom Perriello (D-VA)

Nick Ayers, Executive Director, Republican Governors Association

Moderated by

Chris Cillizza, The Washington Post

The film follows the story of four young adults who run for public office in America. Through their journey they learn about fair play, leadership development, racism in politics, the importance of family, and other lessons they will carry with them throughout their lives.
