Strong federal investments in energy research and development (R&D) are crucial to America’s long-term economic growth and competitiveness. The business leaders who comprise the American Energy Innovation Council (AEIC) recognize that government plays a vital role by filling gaps in places where the private sector under-invests. Given the importance of energy innovation to the U.S. economy, AEIC has long called for strong federal investments in energy research, as reflected in its latest report.

Join AEIC Principals for a panel discussion on the crucial role of government in energy innovation. The conversation will build on the findings in the latest AEIC report and provide a business-sector perspective on the importance of federal energy research investments for the new Congress.

The event will be webcast.
