Congressman Mac Thornberry (R-TX), Member of the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence, joined former 9/11 Commission Chair and Vice Chair Governor Tom Kean and Congressman Lee Hamilton, now co-chairs of the BPC's National Security Preparedness Group, for a discussion about the changing role of the Director of National Intelligence (DNI). Moderated by AP's Kimberly Dozier, the panel examined the appointment of a new DNI and whether legislative and structural changes are needed to strengthen the position.
